Hi friends! It’s Friday—time to share our small joys! Mine this week: an ode to heating pads. I first encountered the true luxury that is a Sunbeam neck-and-shoulder heating pad when I was 22. While in treatment, I had frequent neutropenic fevers, where I was so cold and couldn’t stop shaking. Since then, the heating pad has become a really important part of my life, including as a faithful companion during the many exhausting and exciting early days of building the Isolation Journals.
