Hi friends! It’s Friday—time for our chorus of collective gratitude. My small joy this week is in praise of grandmothers, and family recipes, and all things quaint and cozy and Swiss. I’m at my parents’ house for Christmas, and though for most of the year, we’re more Tunisian—in what we eat, in our household decor, our plates and platters and tagines—we’re never more Swiss than at Christmas. Every year without fail, my grandmother sends a package of the most delicious Swiss treat: leckerli.
