Last weekend, I was upstairs in our bedroom when Jon came in with Sunshine tucked under his arm and announced, “This is MY dog.” I chuckled and said, “Okay!” Then I watched him climb into bed and cuddle up with her. Now for most people, that wouldn’t be noteworthy—but with Jon, it is. When we first started dating, he drew a hard line: No dogs in the bed.
