IT'S HERE! Meet the Alchemy Journal
Your companion in the messy, golden work of becoming—available for pre-order today!
Hi friends,
Today I’m excited to share something I’ve been dreaming up for a long time.
People often ask me which journal I use. I’ve tried them all—composition books, leather-bound beauties, spiral notebooks, reporter’s pads. At the start of every new season or creative project, I’d go hunting for the perfect one—something that could hold it all.
But most journals are one thing or another—a planner, a sketchbook, or lined pages for writing—when what I longed for was space for the whole glorious mix: daily journal entries, lists, doodles, big ideas.
So I designed the journal I’ve always been searching for.
THE ALCHEMY JOURNAL is part diary, part sketchbook, part tool for keeping life in order, part playground for your imagination.
Here’s what makes it different:
Hybrid layout: three dot-lined pages followed by one blank—so you can move easily between written entries and doodles, structure and openness
Room to write: 224 pages of smooth, bleed-proof paper, ready for your inkiest pen
Organization: numbered pages, index for sectioning, and a ribbon bookmark
Design: swoon-worthy marbled endpapers and a pocket for mementos
Cover & feel: perfectly sized at 6x8, with a gold-embossed hard cover that pairs sturdiness with the supple feel of a well-loved leather bag—finished with an elastic closure
Inspiration: a manifesto-poem tucked inside to remind you that it’s possible to alchemize raw moments into something luminous

If you’ve ever longed for a journal that can hold all of you—the planner, the thinker, the keeper, the dreamer—I hope the Alchemy Journal becomes that place. A room of your own you can carry anywhere, where you can meet yourself—past, present, and future—and decide where you’re headed next.
The Alchemy Journal is forthcoming from Random House on November 11—but it’s officially available for pre-order today! Pre-orders matter more than you might imagine: they’re what help a journal like this find its way into bookstores and into the hands of others who’ve been searching for one like it.
Reserve your copy (and maybe one for a friend who could use a fresh start on the page):
May it be your companion in the messy, golden work of becoming.

P.S. Full disclosure: I’ve already started scribbling in mine. Couldn’t wait.

I am publicly admitting that I am a journal hoarder. Thank you for supporting my addiction. This looks beautiful…heading to order. 💕
Perfect timing!! I’ve just been diagnosed with lung cancer and can’t wait to start journaling in it!
