An evening with John and Hank Green & yours truly
Hi friends!
I’m popping into your inbox on a Monday because I can’t help myself—I’m so excited about the arrival of The Alchemy Journal tomorrow and, with it, a special celebratory event: The Alchemy Games: An Evening of Unconventional Journaling.
Yesterday in the newsletter I wrote about how John Green’s young adult novel The Fault in Our Stars was a lifeline at one of my loneliest moments. His book was a friend to me, walking with me in my grief, showing me a way through. So to have John and his brother, Hank, join me for this celebration is such a dream.
John and Hank are such brilliant and hilarious humans, so full of original ideas. In thinking about the format with them, I really wanted to create something that would be special and different. What we came up with: Journaling Club meets a parlor game.
We’ll pull surprise prompts from The Book of Alchemy and use them to draw, to write, to go deep in conversation, to be spontaneous, to arrive somewhere unexpected. I hope it allows you to discover something new about me, Hank, and John—and yourself too.
I also hope this shows you a new way to approach The Book of Alchemy. So often, the best conversations are spurred by really good questions. They make the difference between a night of superficial small talk and a rich, resonant gathering.
With a whole slate of holidays on the horizon, The Alchemy Games can show you how to use the 100 essays and prompts to make more meaningful connections with the people you love.
And of course, you also get a beautiful and thoughtfully designed journal—all for under $20!
Today’s your last chance to preorder and register. Just click on the button below for more.
Hope to see you there!
In alchemy and love,
Suleika
P.S. If you can’t make it live, don’t worry—we’ll send out a replay!

Would love to see the replay 🙏🏻
My Alchemy Journal is being delivered tomorrow, and I'm very psyched! I'm also glad that there will be a replay.
