During this month’s gathering of the Hatch, our virtual hour for paid subscribers, we read two passages—one from Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert and one from The Writing Life by Annie Dillard and reflected on the many ways creative inspiration can appear and how to catch it (by the tail, if need be) when it does.
