Thanks for this idea. I have always called my closed eye trips Eyescapes and always wanted to paint them. A whole series of Eyescapes. Sadly, I’m not a very good painter. Will try word paints.

Eyescapes—that's just brilliant. Hope you had success painting them with words!

Thank - you for the permission to close my eyes, I tend to think that I am wasting time not reading, looking at messes at home that I need to clean up, PW that needs addressing. Your story shows me how closing my eyes can help transport me to something/somewhere that I can write about!

From the mouth of babes-a cliche but so true!

Lou, I remember doing something similar as a child. I didn't see "things", when I closed my eyes, as much as nebulous color shapes. I remember thinking the color shapes were wise and wonderful beings from another dimension. Who knows, maybe they were! Thank you for sharing your prompt and your wisdom 💗.

I saw this video clip ofJon on his Instagram - I wondered who was taking the video. I love that you are going to the Oscars, too!

When I close my eyes as Lou’s prompt asked us to do today, I will see you and Jon dancing your way up the red carpet, real or virtual. Dance on, you two curious creatives! 🎶❤️❤️🎶

Strange that as I was reading this prompt, I was listening to a song called Anywhere Away From Here by Rag'n'Bone Man and P!nk and it kinda fit with the prompt.

Thank you Lou for this amazing and much needed prompt!
