So excited! Just got my ticket for Brooklyn!!! Going solo as of right now, and would love to connect with anyone else going on their own- or maybe a small group meet up to grab a drink beforehand?
OMG! I just did something amazing… I bought two tickets front row orchestra seats for the Philadelphia event at the Miller Theatre, I called one of my BFFs from college who lives in Philly and loves jon and suleika. she is thrilled and delighted to have me come visit ( it’s been more than 15 years since i was last in philly) . when we began discussing the possibility of going, we both went to the site to buy tickets and there was nothing available but nosebleed seats—- hours later we both went back to the site and all these other tickets opened up , and I thought this is a sign I need to go so anyway I am so happy now I need to start looking into flights to get me there and I can’t wait to meet you in person. Yay. I already met jon in person brief but did get to exchange glances❌⭕️❌⭕️

I’m so excited to be able to make it to see you in San Francisco. I missed the opportunity to see you when you came to Stanford (I work at the Stanford Cancer Center)I also bought tickets on presale and lucky to be in row K. My partner Josh and I got to see Jon when he performed at the Fillmore last February and we love you both. Looking forward to having you in our city and would also love to meet up with others in this group. You have continued to inspire me to write when I got breast cancer and I encourage so many of my patients to write as a form of medicine. ❤️
Synchronicity at its best! I now live near the Outer Banks in NC and I visit my daughter, Liana, in Brooklyn once a year, usually for Mothers Day. This year I am coming a little early and WHAT DAY DO I ARRIVE lol, April 26th, and was I able to get tickets for myself, my daughter and her partner, YES!! My heart is full, I am SO excited, I can't believe it worked out! And Liana lives so close to BAM we can walk there! 💕💕💕🙏🙏🙏 Suleika!♡
I experienced similar synchronicity - I happen to be flying from Palermo where I’ll be on vacation to NYC to stay with friends in Brooklyn. I am from seattle so I should have just been going home. But I was invited to do a poetry reading in Manhattan on April 30 - just recently asked. Wow. So crazy. I was going to arrive April 28 but leaving Italy early to make sure i don’t miss this!!!
We (Harriet and I) got tkts the first day Philly opened. Thank you for the early notice and we are looking forward to meeting some people in the lobby before if you can get there early. Another opportunity to look forward to being with such lovely like-minded people. Can’t wait to see how the spirit moves Jon and Suleika❤️
As I said before, I would love to join Jon and you, but you aren't coming to Cleveland! While I was lucky to see Jon play at our fabulous Cleveland Museum of Art, I hoped you'd both choose to return here. Sigh.
