My wife and I saw it in SF as a part of the doc film fest. What a beautiful testament to Jon’s musical genius, and your marriage. We were particularly pulled into the patient/caregiver dynamic of your relationship as we balance a similar challenge. I’m on year 3 of my battle with multiple myeloma. Finding space for your individual passions and your commitment to each other is no small task. The film is wonderfully contemplative and compelling. The IJ community will benefit dearly from watching it together with you. Wishing you both health and happiness as you continue your journey. ♥️

Props to you for making this happen!! I feel such gratitude that you're sharing this gift of your love with us. I should say this with a Big L as we all have such Big Love for you both!! You guys have been the best example of seeing that with love, determination & creativity anything is possible. When I fumbled on to your substack thingie, I was sparked by the word Isolation, because that's how I truly felt dealing with this cancer business. This epic community has shown the irony of that word, as We Are Truly Not Alone.
I just saw the documentary at the 92nd Street Y on Sunday, 11/19 where you and Jon were interviewed after the film. I've known Jon since he was 15 in New Orleans, but I had not seen you live before and it was such an honor to be there. I'm just finishing Between Two Kingdoms and it is the most well written account ever of what you have experienced in this long journey. I can't imagine what it must be like but your bravery in letting the camera into you life like you did to help others is unbelievable. I'm reading the journals and telling friends about them. You and Jon are two of the most highly evolved, courageous, loving people on our planet. May you be blessed always for how much help you are giving so many people.
