I’m so excited for you! Even though I cannot be there, reading this reminded me of the power of connection. In the summer of 2020 I was living in my car, completely alone and about ready to give up. For some reason I opened Instagram (which I rarely did...it was probably the first time in at least 6 months) and the first post to come up was one of Elizabeth Gilbert’s. I ended up on her page and reaching out to someone tagged in another post, which helped me gain a new perspective and, most of all, hope. It was that post which also led to finding others who’s stories inspired me (one of those being Suleika, and here)...so as I read this, it felt as if things were coming full-circle. I will always remember that post and be forever grateful to her.
Sorry, this is completely unrelated to the post but I don’t know where else to ask. A couple months ago I sent you an email however the only address I had was from a pre-Substack newsletter (suleika@theisolationjournals.com). I know you have a lot going on and it isn’t that I need or expect a response, just wanted to make sure I sent it to the right place as I realized after the fact things may have changed (and found out the other day people haven’t been receiving my messages at all).
